Dick & Sue Cohen

Susan Cohen, a retired medical technologist, has been active for over 30 years with Josephine Community Library Foundation and has served in various capacities for Women's Crisis Support Team. She has enjoyed being involved with Josephine County Cultural Coalition, Carpenter Foundation, American Association of University Women, Barnstormers Theatre, and other community organizations. She also served on the Four Way board for many years, including as Board President.

Dick Cohen, has spent many years as a volunteer with local nonprofit organizations, including founding The Kid Zone Community Foundation whose mission is to promote physical activity for children, teens, and their families. During his years with KZCF he spearheaded bringing the Blue Zones Project to Grants Pass, provided cardio fitness classes, equipment, and training to local youth, and coordinated the Kids Dash from 2014 to 2024. Dick also built floats for the Boatnik festival and was First Place winner 6 times! He is retired from a long local career as an Ear, Nose, and Throat physician. During his career he held positions of Chief of Surgery at Josephine Memorial Hospital and Chief of Staff at Southern Oregon Hospital as well as being president of the Josephine County Medical Society. He has served on the boards of Josephine Memorial Hospital, Asante Health System, and Siskiyou Community Health Center.
