Bob Lieberman was a founder and longtime CEO of Grants Pass based Kairos Northwest, formerly SOASTC (Southern Oregon Adolescent Study and Treatment Center). He has been integrally involved in Southern Oregon Success and many local initiatives focused on understanding and responding to the needs of young people and families struggling with mental and behavioral challenges. He served 10 years as a gubernatorial appointee to the Oregon Commission on Children and Families and has held several  other appointments in Oregon and nationally. Mr. Lieberman is a past-President and former Public Policy Chair of the international Association of Children’s Residential and Community services (ACRC) and a founder of the national Building Bridges Initiative. He is certified by Think:Kids at Massachusetts General Hospital as a trainer in Collaborative Problem Solving and by ACE Interface as a Master Trainer of NEAR (neuroscience, epigenetics, adverse childhood experiences, resilience). He has published numerous articles and is co-editor of two books on residential interventions. He conducts trainings and workshops statewide, nationally, and internationally,  and operates his own practice as a professional counselor for youth, adults, and families. Mr. Lieberman has received numerous awards for his work on behalf of youth and families facing serious challenges.
