Augustus was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He received his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark law school in Portland, Oregon. Having lived in Grants Pass for the entirety of his legal career, he has served as Assistant County Legal Counsel for Josephine County and City Attorney for the City of Grants Pass. He currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General for the Oregon Department of Justice, working in juvenile dependency. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and guitar, and especially loves spending time with his wife and daughter. He loves living in Josephine County, and serving on the Four Way Community Foundation Board is a distinct and genuine honor.
