Peter Angstadt

Peter Angstadt, Ph.D. first visited the Rogue Valley in 1978 while working as a whitewater river guide. He received his bachelor’s degree as well as his master’s in higher education administration from Colorado State University. He earned his M.B.A. at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho where he was elected as full-time mayor of the city for two terms from 1990 – 1998. After serving as President of Colorado Northwestern Community College, Angstadt moved to the Rogue Valley and became President of Rogue Community College for 12 years from 2004 – 2016.  Angstadt also earned his Ph.D. in educational policy and management from the University of Oregon and served as Chief Financial Officer and Dean of College Services at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City.
