Brandace Rojo

Four Way Community Foundation Board Member
Dates of service: 2021-current

Brandace Rojo is the Communications Manager for Josephine Community Library District, focusing on social media marketing, writing for press, and engaging the community. She considers herself lucky to work with a team of people who believe in one another and empower each other to let their strengths shine through their work. Working with her communications team, she helps community members fall in love with and sometimes re-discover the library. She is glad to have found a passion for marketing and an even bigger passion for libraries here in Grants Pass.

As the founder and facilitator of the Josephine County Latinx Interagency Network Committee, Brandace brings together agencies and organizations every month who serve the local Spanish-speaking and Latinx populations in a collective effort to bridge services and opportunities for the advancement of the Latinx community in southern Oregon.

Brandace moved to Oregon in 2014 from San Diego, California and began working at the public library only two weeks after arriving in Oregon. At home she lives with her partner of 10 years, her 3-year-old daughter, two dogs, and two cats. Becoming a mother has helped her understand her purpose in life — to raise a creative, critical-thinking, compassionate, and engaged future member of society.
